US-European Partnering Event on Environmental Technologies

Objective

The aim of the Partnering Event is to bring together companies from Europe and the USA to meet, discuss and develop new business opportunities and co-operative R&D projects.

 

Topics

Target Groups

SME’s, large companies and research institutes active in the field of environmental technologies and interested in extending their international network: 150 representatives are expected to participate

 

Programme

·        Plenary presentations on environmental developments in both Europe and the USA

·        Workshops will be organised by matching the interests expressed by each participant

·        Partnering meetings: discussions between potential partners on future collaboration

·        Information market on business support, subsidies, venture capital and loans

 

Organization

The lead European sponsor is the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands. The event will be organised by Senter, an agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Eureka.

The principal US sponsor and organizer is IETO, the Interagency Environmental Technology Office of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. IETO coordinates with key business and governmental organizations, business organizations and agencies that support environmental technologies and promote international trade.
