Introduction

The Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy GmbH will - together with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) - organise the 2. international conference on eco-efficiency on the 15th and 16th May 2001. The conference will take place as part of ENVITEC 2001. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology holds the patronage of the conference. This year's heading is From Eco-Efficiency to Overall Sustainability in Enterprises. A further partner is Arthur D. Little, a consultant company from Düsseldorf.
