POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATIONS IN SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT  

Part-time modular course for waste management professionals from industry, local government, consultants and regulators. MODULES: Bio-processing Collection systems: re-use, recycling and waste minimisation Combustion technologies and incineration of waste Classification of wastes; hazardous wastes Integrated waste management Landfill Engineering Legislative Framework and Codes of Practice Monitoring, aftercare and residuals management Qualification routes: MSc (8 modules + individual project); Postgraduate diploma (8 modules); Certificate of postgraduate studies (4 modules). Individual modules can also count towards CPD. STUDY CAN BE CARRIED OUT WHILE IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT A limited number of EPSRC funded grants are available for study to MSc.
