Patagonia Pasadena, in association with the City of Pasadena Department of Public Works and the Armory Center for the Arts, is proud to present an Environmental Leadership Forum in the Pasadena business community. The forum is part of the Tender Land festival and highlights the role commercial enterprise can play in addressing environmental issues.
Speakers include Patagonia, Incs founder and owner, Yvon Chouinard; Patagonia President and CEO, Michael Crooke; and environmental photographer, Robert Glenn Ketchum.
Chouinard and Crooke will discuss the business philosophies and practices of Patagonia, the outdoor gear and apparel company, based in Ventura. Chouinard, co-founder of 1% For The Planet, will also explain the workings of this alliance of businesses dedicated to preserving wild spaces.
The evening will include a presentation of Ketchums Photography, which depicts outdoor subjects and is noted for its environmental sensitivity. Pasadena Outstanding Recycler Awards will be presented, and previous award winners will be honored.
